What We Do

Services built on skill, patience, and a love for the craft.

Custom Quilts

From memory quilts to heirloom pieces, we design and stitch quilts that become family treasures. Every pattern chosen with care, every seam pressed with intention.

Quilting & Piecing

Bring your fabric and pattern — or let us guide you through the whole process. We handle everything from cutting and piecing to binding and finishing.

Home Repair

Small repairs, big relief. From fixture fixes to handyman tasks around the house, we keep Laverne homes running smoothly — reliable, honest work every time.

Repairs & Restorations

Got a quilt that needs mending or a project halfway done? We restore and repair — giving worn fabrics and unfinished quilts a second life.

Our Story

Rooted in Laverne, stitched with heart.

Sue's Quiltin' Place isn't just a shop — it's where the needle meets the neighborhood. Located right on Jane Jayroe Blvd, we've been serving Laverne and the surrounding Panhandle communities with quilts made to last and repairs done right.

Whether you're bringing in fabric for a custom quilt, need help finishing a project you started, or just need someone trustworthy to fix a leaky faucet — we're here. No rush jobs, no shortcuts. Just good work, done with care.

We believe in slow craft and steady hands. Every quilt that leaves our shop carries a piece of this town with it.
